Apple Core

Three bites and it was gone.

One glance and it was centre of attention.

Four shots and this was the result.

Somewhere along the line I acquired an Office-Lamp with three spring-based joints and that can be clamped anywhere. Brilliant design: It STAYS where pushed and pulled.

You can't see this, but the lamp is facing the black background - and sitting about 10cm ABOVE the core. By putting the core to the right, the shadow created by the diffused light of the lamp-shade is not directly under the globe, thus creating that tiny shadow.

Hmmm. Maybe it would be easier to photograph. Soon... Will have to eat another apple!

Initially I wasn't sure about this shot (it's a bit dark), so I hope you like it! I'm planning more like this! I particularly like having the black background and the white-base - It gives a lot more depth!
