EXPLORE Worthy, Challenge 88 - COLORFUL Things (Art from 2017)

Before posting my photos I always look at the image to see if or what I can add more, like an explanation of whereor why it was taken, or a quote to make it more clear what my "deeper" thoughts are, or a song to express the feeling I get.

And this image suites, in my humble opinion, perfectly to the song "She's A Rainbow" by the Rolling Stones. Hope you like it too ;-))

She's A Rainbow

She comes in colors ev'rywhere;

She combs her hair

She's like a rainbow

Coming, colors in the air

Oh, everywhere

She comes in colors

Every time we came to the village, first thing I did was to climb up that mountain (weather permitting).

Here is also a darker version, taken 20 minutes later...

The Allianz Arena is a football stadium located in Fröttmaning in the north of Munich.

Max. seating is 75,000. Due to it's shape it earned the nicknames "Schlauchboot" (inflatable boat) and "Autoreifen" (tyre).

Very tiny dewdrops in an ocean of colourful bokeh

The highly magnified droplets are clinging on to one of the little seed pods of that mysterious "Rainbow Plant" (smoke bush) which you've probably already seen here and/or here. If you haven't, then you've been missing out on something very special   ( ツ)

With a seed pod measuring less than 5 mm in "length". you can imagine how small the tiniest drops are, even if you can't see them with the naked eye. The next size down would be mist!   ( ツ)

Leaning back away from your tilted monitor screen, should create a 3D effect. The illusion is even more pronounced while in Lightbox and on full screen, of course. Let me know if it works for you!

Taken in situ and with 100% natural lighting, as always.

The gear! (new tab) - Shh!!! Mum's the word!

I hope you'll all have a really lovely Christmas with lots and lots of presents. But, go easy on the pudding!   ( ツ)

It only remains for me to wish you, and all around you, a Very Merry Christmas and a Bright and Colourful New Year!

Take care and many thanks for calling,

Till next time,

Colin … ;-)

You may be glad to know that this is the last picture in my "Rainbow Plant" series. You can see all the others here.   ( ツ)

The Marienbrücke spans the Pöllatschlucht gorge behind Schloss Neuschwanstein. Height above the Pöllat creek below is 90 metres.

The bridge in its current appearance was built in 1866 as a steel construction, replacing an older wooden bridge dated 1845.

The current bridge was completely renovated in 2015 including stabilising works on the rock anchor bolts.

This bridge is the best location for photos of Schloss Neuschwanstein.
