I finally was able to get a shot of this cool looking barn in the winter due to the location, as the sun was rising I figured it would make a perfect opportunity.

Seen in Asuncion, Paraguay. I was attracted by the contrast between New and Old, e.g. the Lamps above the Poster, the Cabling on the wall etc.

Taken with Sony NEX-7 and the Sony Zoom Lens E 18-200mm F3.5-6.3 OSS.

If you want to know a little bit more about me as a Photographer:

Just a little wip for the next build I have in the works. More pics will come shortly. Stay tuned.

Drove around a small town here in Kansas and saw this old advertisement for the drug store.

NR84, G530 and NR87 twist through Cullerin as 2BM4 to Melbourne.

NR84 was recently outshopped with an advertisement for rail freight on the side, the first of its kind in Australia. Here's hoping more locomotives receive a similar treatment.

From a gracious and good flickr friend, I was the grateful recipient of several vintage car posters. Not knowing whether this “good friend” wishes to be identified or remain an anonymous benefactor, I will allow this person to decide whether or not he wishes to be known. I am, however, extremely grateful………which I’m sure this individual is aware.

I am just now in a position to begin the process of digitalizing these lovely vintage poster - a somewhat daunting task in that I do not have the physical resources (easel, studio lighting, etc) with which to do proper justice to these fine prints. Fact is I mounted a piece of foamboard on the outside of my garage door and have been using double sided, low tack, mounting tape to position the posters onto the foamboard. Obviously not the ideal way to photograph prints……… If anyone wishes to offer me some suggestions (without having to go out and buy hundreds of dollars of equipment), I would welcome your ideas. No, I don’t have a large, high-quality scanner.

Hope you’all enjoy (as much as I have enjoyed) …………

I'm so excited to release this newest sexy and slinky Kaithleens Manon Leather bodysuit for you. It will be available at the newest round of Kinky Event. I hope you love it

122 Pictures in 2022 - 107 Turn Back the Clock

Out yesterday with ianbartlett for a 12 mile circular walk from Robertsbridge.

This is how they used to advertise. This is on the A21, London to Hastings road, at Hurst Green.

The advertisement is for C. Weeks, Baker. I've tried a quick search on Ancestry to see if I could find who C. Weeks was, but so far, I've not found him/her. I have Weeks ancestors who lived in this area up until about 1750's, but I would think this sign is from about 1900-1950.

This picture is from a mirror in the airport of Barcelona, a perfect place for this short of pictures.

Esta foto es de un cristal en el aeropuerto de Barcelona, un sitio perfecto para este tipo de fotos.

NOTE: in this series all pictures are real ones, with almost no photoshop work.

Visiting the small market town of North Walsham I took a few shots while there.

The side of an old building being used for advertising the Black Swan pub which is to the left a short distance away.

I rarely post things like this, but I grew up with Scottie dogs and this illustration tickled my fancy. This is just a portion of a full page ad. It appears the illustrator is C. Broutin. I cannot find information on this artist. NO WAIT! NEWS FLASH!! This is the work of French illustrator Christian Broutin (1933- ).
