I hope everyone is having a good start to the first week of Spring:-)
As always, many thanks for your visits and comments dear friends:-)))
a complicate shot.
sunset time in february is 6.30PM...an hour before sun stars to set down but it's still too strong for backlight shots.
fortunatly the sun was a bit covered and filtered from humidity and dust so when i saw the bird ....i tried.
as i work in M mode i increased my shutter speed to avoid to fire all.
of course in post production i opened the shadows on the bird and increased the light on the sun.
with my big surprise the details on the bird remained intact so i have been able to get this original picture.
a bit of lucky(filtered sun in the right position) , a bit of skill (to find correct exposure and compo) and the correct
work in post production.i hope you like it.

Almost....because the Monarch is almost to the Zinnia. And almost...because I almost captured it in focus.

On 1st November I posted these Cyclamen in full flower. Over 3 months later, they are fading, but what a show they were and with such beautiful heart shaped foliage, they still have much to offer as the colour fades and browns in the flowers as they settle back ready for this winter.
Take care and stay safe everyone, this thing isn't over yet :-))
The magical tuscany sunset, maybe this is the one reasons why some say that there are place in Italy that proves that Italy is heaven on earth...
The view on a very hot spring day as the water increases. Will be ripping soon as we are having a spring hot spell. Thanks for looking and hope to be around soon!

HSS everyone!
The last one in the series, using my photo 'Everything'.
At Spiky Bridge Built by convicts in 1843, this bridge abruptly pops out of the landscape to baffle passers-by with its odd design. The bridge was made from field stones laid without mortar or cement and the parapet features field stones laid vertically, giving the bridge a spiky appearance. It was built to make it safer for horse drawn carriages to cross a creek.
