My blocks for February of Block Party for Ashley.

I'm already finished with my February Block Party blocks!! These beauties were made for Ashley! she asked for paper-pieced string blocks for a spiderweb quilt . . . a totally new technique for me, which I thoroughly loved learning and trying. I will *definitely* be doing some more string + paper piecing--it's a very, VERY addictive technique--and a great one for using scraps that are just too tiny to do anything else with. Ashley chose some seriously awesome fabrics, and I KNOW I'll be making myself a quilt using that Alexander Henry Starling fabric with lots of the reds + aquas Ashley chose for hers. I hope you love your blocks, Ashley!
