Thank you to everyone who pauses long enough to look at my photo. Any comments or Faves are very much appreciated.

She fell down and I thought it also to document, sure is safe ;)

Dokumente

Just some papers on the table - accidentally taken with long exposure settings on camera. I used a slightly adjusted template of the Nik Collection plugin "Analog Efex Pro" to obtain this "interesting" look I do like so much. And yes, here it is. :))

Tools: Aperture, Analog Efex Pro, Pixelmator.

at The State Archives, Venice. All the ancient documents - millions of them - many correspondences from all over Europe and beyond, are kept here, and are being digitalised. A mammoth task, requiring great skills and knowledge, not to mention up to date technology and lots of time.

Quick snapshot & staying safe - Knoxville, TN USA - efforts to minimize the risk (COVID-19). Many take-out/curbside options including chocolate and ice cream.

on the way to the Shanghai Railway Station i saw...

Documenting COVID. May 2020. Knoxville TN USA has reopened in tiers over the last several weeks. With restrictions restaurants are starting to reopen, folks can get a haircut (but wait your turn outside in some cases), and a retail mall has only select doors open for shoppers to get in. Our Great Smoky Mountains National Park reopened May 9th with Phase I and more areas opened May 23rd. State Parks also reopened a few weeks ago with limitations. May 26th is the next phase for the county of Knox TN. Many will be happy that bars with inside seating will open.

Of course, some places never closed. The large company I work for has remained open and many of us at the corporate Knoxville office have been working from home. I'm sure we will have many adjustments when we return.

Life has been interesting AND my dog is so spoiled.

Shrugging off the weather, the CP business train was on the Sabula draw bridge as the rain poured down and the Mississippi was on the rise. Also shrugging off the weather were the many photographers out chasing this thing.

Since the CP business train most likely will never have a GP20C ECO splitting a pair of FP9s again, this was a consist that required documentation.

And yes, Guss forged that water like a nimble ninja to perch himself on those slick rocks like a professional documentary photographer should.

Maryland Midland's Highfield job was pausing in Union Bridge as my Uncle takes to the streets to document the event.

Select a perfume to wear for the day.

Nickel Plate 765 has her day in the sun as she departs Norfolk Southern's Calumet Yard on her way back home to Fort Wayne in 2014.

At the time, the Roadrailer in the background was just that-something in the background. But time ran out on the Fort Wayne to Minneapolis service, and it soon disappeared, displacing the traffic back onto Interstate 94.

The 765 has been back to Calumet a few more times over the years, but it was fortunate to have documented that background Roadrailer.

Air Force Master Sgt. Todd Davis from the Kapisa/Parwan Provincial Reconstruction Team takes photos to document construction progress on Masab High School near Mahmood Raqi, Afghanistan, March 14. An Air Force non-commission officer, Staff Sgt. Timothy Bowles, and three Soldiers were killed on a similar PRT mission in Nangarhar Province one day later when their convoy vehicle was destroyed by an improvised explosive device on the way to visit a local school near Jalalabad, Afghanistan.

Please note that, thus far, there are only two photos documenting spring. I just couldn't capture the snowflakes falling today. Brrrr - cold and windy!
