I appreciate that it is a tad daft to give a wild animal a name, but I've a real soft spot for this boar badger and somehow the nickname "Eric" has stuck.

Eric seems to roam in an area of about one square mile and over the past few years has managed to film himself regularly on three of my trail cameras.

As you can see, he looks like he's slightly ‘weathered’. As well as some obvious war wounds, his ears are chewed & most of his right ear is now missing. Despite his rugged look he appears to be perfectly healthy and there has been no deterioration in his condition over the past couple of winters.

It was great to finally come face-to-face with Eric for the first time this week.

Eric has been living in my kitchen window for a few weeks now so thought it was time to take a pic.

Eres sirena, oigo tu canto

Y me ahogo en tu cadera

Porque tu vuelvas yo daría lo que fuera

Por que me quites con tu piel esta condena

Que me mata y me envenena

Mira morena, baila conmigo

Y me sacas esta pena

Eric Echampard at concert of October 30, 2015 at The Studio Sextan - La Fonderie, 10-12-14 rue Eugène Varlin. Malakoff.

Eric went out to the Local Ice Rink to see if he could get in some practice but found that the team was out practicing for the game that night so decided he would just try another day... Happy Teddy Bear Tuesday, Everybody!!

English Translation

It's You

Today I woke up wanting to kiss you

I have a thirst to caress you

Entangle myself with you and not let you go

You're so intoxicating

It's you

I want to gaze at you without counting the minutes

Draw you with just my memories

In my mind accentuate your lips, your kisses

You're here once again

It's you

I love seeing you, having you, embracing you

When I'm at your side

All the goodness in me

Blossoms, it's you

That magnet of beautiful energy

It's your soul that sends

Signals to my body

Because it keeps on asking for that smell of you

That invites me lying in wait

It's you

We have different plans

But you're always on my mind

Since my veins so subtly

Enjoy loving you so much

It's you, it's you

It's you

A larger-than-life statue of Morecambe, created by sculptor Graham Ibbeson, was unveiled by the Queen at Morecambe in July 1999 and is surrounded by inscriptions of many of his favourite catchphrases and an exhaustive list of guest stars who appeared on the show. The statue was vandalised in October 2014, having had one of its legs sawn off, it was moved to London for repair and was restored on 11 December 2014.

John Eric Bartholomew, OBE (14 May 1926 – 28 May 1984), known by his stage name Eric Morecambe, was an English comedian who together with Ernie Wise formed the award-winning double act Morecambe and Wise. The partnership lasted from 1941 until Morecambe's death in 1984. Morecambe took his stage name from his home town, the seaside resort of Morecambe in Lancashire.

23rd May 2019 - Supporting 'A Certain ratio' at 'Jacaranda's' Phase 1 venue in Liverpool was this under appreciated (on the night!!) behemoth of the early 80/90's Manchester scene.

Eric Random's discography is like a who's who of the coolest artits around. From opening for Joy Division in 78 with the Tiller Boys to working with the likes of Nico (Velvet Underground), Pete Shelley of the Buzzcocks and Cabaret Voltaire his input is hard to ignore.

On the night the young crowd in attendance largely ignored him, but his performance took me right back to the old Blackburn Raves in 89/90 with an underlying TB303 acid groove going on, its probably been the highlight of my Gig Photography year so far!!

Stopped off in Ditchling on our way home, having seen that BBC4 doc on Eric Gill....not much to see as the museum was closed.
