This is the door to one of the towers of the San Juan de Ulua Fort in Veracruz, Mex.

I love old wooden door and lock.

It´s a good feeling to stroke my hand over the structur, let the wings of history follow my thoughts.

Texture: Shadowhouse.

For the 😄 HaPpY CrAzY Tuesday 😄 theme: 'Locked'

I hope it is suitable for the theme, as the paper is locked with the points to keep it together.

Happy Crazy Tuesday everyone.

An old origami model, called 'Braided Paper', which I refolded recently, actually the very first one after the big move ;-)) When I folded it years ago it was a difficult model, but now it is easy. Funny how these things work.

I used a square of rice paper 29,7cm, that is rather thin, because it has lots of layers in the middle.

Final size: a square of 10,5cm

As I do love backlighting, in the first comment box you can see that version ;-)

Padworth Lock is a lock on the Kennet and Avon Canal, at Aldermaston Wharf in the civil parish of Padworth in the English county of Berkshire.

Padworth Lock was built between 1718 and 1723 under the supervision of the engineer John Hore of Newbury, and was originally a turf-sided lock. The lock has a rise/fall of 5 ft 1 in (1.55 m) and was totally rebuilt as a brick lock between 1982 and 1984. The canal is administered by the Canal & River Trust.

Always lock up for safety and protection!

I liked the POV of these bighorn sheep rams locking their horns in this shot. They sure are powerful animals.

So I haven't posted on here in a very long time. Sometimes I just feel overwhelmed trying to keep up with everything and sometimes I feel I have nothing worth sharing. But I am hoping to be more involved on Flickr because I miss all of you and your wonderful pictures! So bring on the new year!
