The pier at Port Moody's Rocky Point Park. The park is located at the eastern tip of Burrard Inlet.

This popular park is to Port Moody as Stanley Park is to Vancouver. Amenities include boating clubs, an outdoor swimming pool, a skateboard park, concert stage, a water spray park and a boat launching dock.

Flickr is not exactly the hottest social media these days... Therefor I have just started a 500px profile! I hope to make 500px my main area for marketing myself in the future.

I am very happy with all the support I has received from you on Flickr. It has been a huge motivation for me. Especially during the 365 day project. I Hope that everyone here will visit and follow my 500px profile as well. I hope to make a switch from Flickr to 500px soon. I will put a link at the bottom.

Some weeks ago I applied for a scholarship for young artists called "Drømmestipendet". I can now happily announce, that I'm nominated in the category visual art, to receive a 1500$ price. I must that you again for showing support. Make sure to visit my new 500px profile.

At Miss Moody's teashop in Romsey, I was tempted by the de-luxe hot chocolate on the menu.

It was unusual, as you can see, a mug of boiling hot milk, small containers of chocolate drops amd a long-handled spoon. No instructions needed.

Except not all the chocolate drops melted and there was a 'mess' of runny warm chocolate to spoon at the bottom. Very nice - and me on a no added sugar diet.

One building dominating the shoreline in Port Moody's Rocky Point Park is Pacific Coast Terminals 263-meter-long shed for the storage of 160,000 tonnes of potash products.

The facility is the western terminus for shipment of potash from a K+S potash mine opened May 2017 in Bethune, Saskatchewan.

Bethune mine, formerly known as the Legacy Project, is the first new potash mine in Saskatchewan in nearly fifty years. The mine has a capacity of of 2 million tonnes per year.

The facility includes a railcar unloading, below and above ground conveyor belts, new transfer towers and the 263-metre-long warehouse for storage.

The facility can unload potash from an 18,000 tonne train in four and a half hours, then load the product onto ships with a capacity of 70,000 tonnes each.

K+S Potash Canada (KSPC) is a K+S Group company with headquarters in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. K+S Group is an international resources company headquartered in Germany.

Adams Place Bridge, Canary Wharf, London England

This is such a cool bridge, something that wouldn't be amiss in a Star Trek film, reminds me of the warp core inside the enterprise or the Nacelle (sorry I am a bit of a Star Trek Geek).

I little bit of image manipulation going on here, just wanted to try it for a bit of fun and it really worked out quite well. Just love all the shapes and lines going on here.

This bridge is certainly one that I will be revisiting in the near future and also can't wait until all the other Crossrail stations are open if they are as good as this!

Everything was wonderful -- the sign, the service, our dinner, even the cookbook I bought.

Chapter 26

Harry, Ron and Hermione sat in the library as the sun set outside, tearing feverishly through page after page of spells, hidden from each other by the massive piles of books on the desk in front of each of them.

I’m pretty sure there’s no need to tell anybody that is my most favourite scene/MOC – at least so far. As a sucker for every form of architecture (interior and exterior), I couldn’t resist and came up with my own version of a small part of Hogwarts’ library.

I even refrained from adding flying books to the scene, since, as far as I am concerned, the vignette is nice the way it is.

And as promised, I tried to come up with a chair that is a bit more handsome and complex that the one in Moody’s classroom.

"Port Moody is named for Colonel Richard Clement Moody, Royal Engineers. It was established at the end of a trail that connected New Westminster with Burrard Inlet to defend New Westminster from potential attack from the US. After 1859, the town grew rapidly following land grants to Moody’s Royal Engineers after the sapper detachment was disbanded in 1863. The construction of a transcontinental railroad was the condition that prompted British Columbia to enter into confederation in 1871. The small town received little attention until it was declared the terminus of the Canadian Pacific Railway in 1879."

I'm not much on jewelry, but if I were, this place would be on my short list for the sign alone; what a treasure it is!

Yesterday we were in Maui, today we're in Switzerland... guess I have a craving for travel.

OK, so when is it perilous to go shopping?

a) When you're tipsy.

b) When the guy you're shopping with is wearing a "Porn Lover" t-shirt, and convinces you this outfit is really hot.

c) When you buy said outfit before waiting for the picture of it to fully rez.

d) All of the above.

Man, the Moody's can't even save this. What the hell was I thinking? LOL!

Oh, and the correct answer (at least in this case)? D. ;o)

I guess my mood is a bit dark as well. Moody's just downgraded Chicago's credit rating to "junk". Hmmm, I can see who this will hurt the most. The little people who are already struggling to get by. Property taxes (up 49% is what is needed) and probably many other taxes will rise to make up the difference. Familiar story around the world. We are not unique.

Looks real good but for an early '50s custom it needs to sit level, I'd raise the front about 2 inches.

(and shiney paint would be a big plus)

One of the picnic tables in Port Moody's Rocky Point Park.

Pictured here at the NECPWA Vintage vehicle rally, at the Woodhorn Colliery Museum, Woodhorn, Ashingon, Northumberland.

Built in December 1950, Registered in 1951 as MUR910, & supplied to the British Tabulating Machine Co. Not much is known of the subsequent history, until 2002, when it was purchased by the Bradworthy Transport Museum, Devon where it remained until 2010. It then moved on to yet another museum, this time the Moretonhampstead Motor museum, again in Devon. Here it remained in storage until purchase in 2017 by Moody's Haulage, whose livery it now carries. Restored over a 3 month period, by Heathline Commercials, a sister company of Moody's, and named after the Chairman's mother 'Peggy.'

Powered by a 3519cc Petrol engine, "Peggy; has a full-crash 4 speed gearbox. The original registration number is unavailable at this time.

A beautifully done restoration by any standards.
