A young man holds steadily a used car tire - on which the words "Vulcanizing Shop" are painted - while his fellow worker attaches it securely on a concrete fence wall near the shop where they are employed and which was just recently opened on a rented commercial space by the national road at a village in Subic, Zambales, Philippines.
On this day, two years ago, I took a bunch of photos. This is one of them.
Been away a while. Just got a new lens that I hope inspires me to get out soon. Until then, there's editing old stuff.

River Torrens Linear Park: Signage+ (ambiguous, intriguing)
I'm intrigued by the addition to the signage: "Worldwide isolation" in gothic script, clearly stenciled on. What does it all mean?
Near this entry to the Park is what a bike-riding friend tells me is the only bike repair station along the river. I have a picture of my husband inspecting it that I can post if there is sufficient clamour...
