Cercis siliquastrum - unexpected find in Perth.

Small deciduous tree from Southern Europe and Western Asia.

It has bright rusty coloured seedpods, but more famous for its beautiful flowers in spring.

Cultivated (planted on the front yard)

Note, similar North American trees C. canadensis and C. occidentalis referred as Redbud.
