Vanessa Ogle received her PhD at Harvard in 2011, Assistant, was a Associate Professor in modern European history at the University of Pennsylvania, 2011-2017, and is currently an Associate Professor, modern European history, UC Berkeley, 2017-present.This talk explores the emergence of modern offshore tax havens as a way to reopen the history of the decades ca. 1920s-1980s.
