Opening of the 29th Human Rights Council

The United Nations Human Rights Council opened its 29th Session this morning at the United Nations Office at Geneva with an address by Zeid Ra'ad Al Hussein, the U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights. Sarah Sewall, U.S. Under Secretary of State for Civilian Security, Democracy and Human Rights participated in the opening session with Ambassador Keith Harper, the U.S. Representative to the Human Rights Council.
