Power of Empowered Women 2015

Ambassador Pamela Hamamoto opens the third annual Power of Empowered Women discussion at the United Nations Office at Geneva. The third event in the ‘Power of Empowered Women’ series focused on women’s leadership in peace and security. Ambassador Pamela Hamamoto and Michael Møller, Director General of the U.N. Office at Geneva, opened the event with the announcement of a new leadership network: International Geneva Gender Champions. The joint UN Geneva Future She Deserves initiative will bring together committed leaders to serve as International Geneva Gender Champions for gender equality.
