Global Refugee Youth Consultations

Young refugees from around the world gathered in Geneva this week for the most comprehensive refugee youth consultations ever held. Together, they discussed the challenges young refugees face, their visions for the future and the support they need. The consultations lead by High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi and Sarah Costa, Executive Director of the Women's Refugee Commission, brought together host and donor governments and NGO leaders.

 

"This dialogue is critical," said Ambassador Pamela Hamamoto. "The United States is proud to be part of it. These incredible young men and women - those who are here with us today, and all those they represent - are showing us the way forward."
