WTO Trade Policy Review of the United States

Ambassador Michael Punke, Deputy United States Trade Representative and U.S. Permanent Representative to the World Trade Organization, and Deputy Chief of Mission Christopher Wilson on the second day of the 2016 Trade Policy Review of the United States. Surveillance of national trade policies through the Trade Policy Review Mechanism is a fundamental part of the work of the WTO: all WTO members are reviewed, the frequency of each country’s review varying according to its share of world trade.
