An Entire Life in a Package

The U.S. Mission is co-sponsoring the exhibition entitled “An Entire Life in a Package” by Israeli artist Orna Ben-Ami at the United Nations Office at Geneva. The exhibit was officially opened on June 20 in light of World Refugee Day, and focuses on refugees and the few belongings they take with them when they leave.

 

The artist is known for her welded iron sculptures combined with treated photographs and charcoal sketches. The exhibit will remain on display until June 30, 2017.
