Reception during the 69th Session of UNHCR's Executive Committee

On the occasion of the annual Executive Committee session of the U.N. High Commisisoner for Refugees, the United States hosted a reception for delegates, UNHCR officials, and other international organization and NGO partners. High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi; Acting Assistant Secretary of State for Population, Refugees, and Migration Carol O’Connell; and U.S. Mission Chargé d'Affaires Mark Cassayre spoke on the importance of international cooperation and responsibility sharing to facilitate durable solutions, and to support UNHCR’s essential role in addressing the world’s worst humanitarian crises.
