UNICEF Chief Henrietta Fore at Geneva's Graduate Institute

The world's 1.8 billion young people face a rapidly changing world and must be prepared with the right skills to better their future, Henrietta Fore, Executive Director of UNICEF, told an international audience last night at Geneva's Graduate Institute. She called on the global community to come together to unlock the full potential of "Generation Unlimited" who make up 25% of today's population, but represent 100% of the world's future. Through Generation Unlimited, UNICEF is connecting young people with the private sector, governments, and international and local organizations to tackle the many challenges they face. The event was part of the Women in World Affairs lecture series co-sponsored by the U.S. Mission in Geneva. Mission Chargé d'Affaires Mark Cassayre introduced and moderated the session.
