U.S. Ambassadors Host Independence Day 2010 Reception in Geneva

The U.S. Mission the United Nations in Geneva hosted a diplomatic reception for Independence Day 2010 on July 1, 2010. This year's theme was American Streetscapes. The event featured five pavilions each representing a unique piece of the American Landscape.

 

The event was hosted by the Mission's top diplomats. Right to left: Ambassador Michael Punke, U.S. Ambassador to the WTO, Ambassador Betty E. King, U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations in Geneva, Ambassador Eileen Chamberlain Donahoe, U.S. Ambassador the Human Rights Council, and Garold Larson, Deputy Permanent Representative to the Conference on Disarmament standing in for Ambassador Laura Kennedy who was traveling.
