U.S. Hosts UNHCR ExCom Delegates

The Executive Committee of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) is meeting in Geneva this week. The U.S. Mission was pleased to host the UN High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi, along with representatives from partner countries and other international organizations, for fruitful conversations about ongoing coordination, planning, and burden sharing in humanitarian responses. Acting Assistant Secretary of State for Population, Refugees, and Migration Carol Thompson O’Connell thanked UNHCR leadership and humanitarian workers for their dedication and resolve in addressing some of the world’s most complex crises.
