A Sanctuary in the Storm

The United States Mission is proud to be a sponsor of the exhibition. "A Sanctuary in the Storm" about the life of Carl Lutz, the Swiss diplomat who saved the lives of tens of thousands of Jewish men, women and children during the Nazi Holocaust.

“I would like to encourage everyone who is resident in Geneva and has an opportunity to come down and take a look at this magnificent exhibition put on by the Cercle Carl Lutz and educate yourself about a real Swiss hero from the Second World War" said U.S. Mission Chargé d'Affaires Ben Moeling after touring the exhibit with Israeli Ambassador Meirav Eilon Shahar.

A Sanctuary in the Storm can be visited at The Rotonde du Mont-Blanc on Geneva's right bank until June 7, 2021 and will travel to additional locations in the near future.
