Emin Milli speaks via Skype to a Panel at the United Nations with Internet Freedom Fellows

Azerbaijani blogger and youth activist Emin Milli speaks via Skype during a panel discussion at the United Nations. In a tweet, Milli described his presentation as "My UN Speech from My Kitchen in Azerbaijan."

 

The United States Mission and the Institute for Media and Global Governance (IMGG) organized the session which also featured seven "Internet Freedom Fellows" writers, bloggers and journalists from around the world who are using social media, mobile communications and digital networks to promote human rights. The Fellows will spend two days in Geneva June 9-10, 2011 for discussions with diplomats, ngos and international organizations.
