Green Initiatives: U.S. Mission Geneva’s New Fleet of E-Bikes

On October 27th, the U.S. Mission’s Green team gathered for a demonstration of the Mission’s six electric bicycles (or “e-bikes”). The e-bikes are available for travel by Mission employees to meetings and conferences around Geneva and are part of the Mission’s ongoing commitment to reducing its carbon footprint. The group discussed important features of the e-bikes, safety and storage tips, as well as best practices in e-bike riding. The e-bikes are already a popular transportation choice at the Mission and we expect that this demonstration will only enhance the popularity of this clean transit option.
