Ambassador Robert King with members of the Republic of Korea’s National Assembly

While in Geneva for the 19th Session of United Nations Human Rights Council (HRC), Ambassador Robert King, U.S. Special Envoy for North Korean Human Rights Issues, agreed to meet with four members of the Republic of Korea National Assembly. In the meeting, Ambassador King addressed the report by the HRC’s Special Rapporteur for Human Rights in the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea (DPRK), which highlights significant human rights issues in North Korea.
