U.S. Mission and AIC welcome NASA's Crew from the Endeavor Shuttle's Final Mission

On July 24, 2012, astronauts from the Endeavour Mission made a stop on their Geneva tour to attend a luncheon in their honor at Hewlett Packard hosted by the American International Club with help from the U.S. Mission in Geneva. At the luncheon, guests heard from the team about their 16-day Mission to the International Space Station, which included the installation of the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer, a particle physics detector that uses the unique space environment to study antimatter and dark matter while performing precision measurements of cosmic rays and flux. Tonight, the astronauts will attend a conference open to the public and on Wednesday they will meet with scientists at CERN.
