World Habitat Day: U.S. Mission promotes Sustainable Building with UNECE

To mark World Habitat Day, the U.S. Mission participated in an exhibit with the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe highlighting Sustainable Building projects around the world. The U.S. Mission chose to showcase the High Line in New York, as a model for a sustainable building and adaptive reuse, and also an example of how community residents can band together to transform a former industrial structure into usable green space. The exhibit will be on display at the United Nations through October 19.
