From February 22 to February 26 the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) organized the “International Conference on Human and Organizational Aspects of Assuring Nuclear Safety – Exploring 30 Years of Safety Culture”. This conference brought together safety experts from around the world to exchange ideas with regard to human and organizational factors, safety culture and leadership for safety. The aim was to learn from different perspectives, professions and fields to reflect on the pivotal role that human and organizational aspects play in assuring safety.
