From looking at this scene you would never know that one of the busiest airports in the World is just the other side of the hill on the opposite shore. This is the end of my trip to Pulau Ubin. Thanks for tagging along and giving me such wonderful feedback. If you would like to read more about this trip you can do so at worthingwanderer.blogspot.com/2019/06/pulau-ubin.html
Singapore Changi Airport offers a nice mixture of shops. Despite the high number of passengers, the airport is relatively quiet. Last but not least thanks to a butterfly garden and various couches and massage chairs.

Been a little busier than usual with work last week so didn't have time to upload anything on Flickr. Will try to upload one or two this week.
For this shot, this is the Old Changi Hospital, which is a deserted and abandoned building, and rumored to be haunted. It was used as a detention centre by the Japanese Kenpeitai during World War II.
Today, the premises are sealed off to the public with fencing all round it.
Louis Vuitton had a shirt I quite liked. Go on, guess how much. Wrong! it was over Two Thousand Dollars - I didn’t bother asking what currency!
Oh, that is a giant tv screen around the door - very impressive!

Changi: After work today, I could not miss the opportunity to go and have a photography session with the Pin-tailed Whydah. Another introduced or escapee species, the male did not disappoint, putting on a magnificent display as he wanted to have some fun with the waitng females. I took 2000+ pics, culled down to 100 and even then, I didn't know what to process first. So decided to start with head on shots for the first series. Aptly descirbed in ebird.org as "the glorious adult male is unmistakable with its long tail and bright reddish bill". My only comment "whydah heck you so gorgeous!"
